Canberra raised Sydney FC and Young Socceroo star Kofi Danning is one of Australia’s brightest young footballing talents, before being picked up by Sydney FC Kofi was in fact a star of the McDonald’s Kanga Cup! Kofi was named Player of the Tournament twice, once in 2003 as an U12 and again in 2005 as an U15 player. His remarkable rise to the Hyundai A-League and Young Socceroos is an inspiring tale for all McDonald’s Kanga Cup participants.
Sydney FC are proud to sponsor this award and hope it will inspire another young player to do their best and aim for the top! The winner of the 2010 Sydney FC U12 Player of the Tournament will receive a Sydney FC Boot Bag, Hyundai A-League Champions T-Shirt and cap with a Sydney FC ball signed by the Championship team!
