Capital Football and the FFA sanction the Kanga Cup. The Kanga offers the most competitive club football in Australasia, welcoming members of the FFA football family as well as those from all over the world.

Established in 1991, the Kanga Cup is the fifth largest youth football event of its kind in the world and the largest in the southern hemisphere. Each year around 200 teams from around the world converge on Canberra for a festival week of world-class football competition and cultural experiences. Many international teams from Asia and Oceania are expected to compete in 2011. The Kanga Cup has evolved over its history and now caters for ALL standards in the competitions.

The philosophy of ‘the Kanga’ is to ‘Unite the Youth of the World through Football.’ This theme is emphasised not only in the on-field aspect of the tournament but also the event’s social program. This program includes; opening ceremony, host nights with local clubs, movie nights, discos and an awards ceremony. The Kanga Cup offers a memorable junior football experience - not just for the players but also the coaches, managers and parents.
